Woven Wood Shades are available in a variety of grasscloth, jutes, wood, bamboo and other organic fabrics that provide unique design opportunities for your windows. Woven Wood Shades work well in urban style interior designs or can be dressed up with drapery toppers and side panels to adorn the most elegant room settings. Woven Woods, like Roman Shades, cascade up and down and the material self stacks on itself when in the up position. |
Light Filtering to Room Darkening
Woven Woods are manufactured with a variety of different organic materials that can provide a diffuse view that allows you to experience a view of the outside world while inside your home. Woven Woods can also be back lined with room darkening material for bedrooms and home theater rooms where ambient light may be undesirable.
Energy and Environmental
When controlling temperature is a concern, Woven Wood Shades provide an excellent environmentally healthy way to reject heat without off-gassing unhealthy toxins in your home. Woven Woods are considered by many to be the most environmentally friendly product made available in our industry; with the most frequently renewable material used in Woven Woods being bamboo, which in the right conditions, can grow as fast as 2 inches an hour. Most Woven Wood Shades can be lined with thermal liners to reject heat.
Operation
Woven Wood Shades can be operated with standard pull cords, top down bottom up, chain clutch and motorization. Motorized shades can be operated with hand-held or wall-mount remote controls or integrated into a home automation system.
